Everything you need to get the most out of Super Budget Piggy.
FAQ
Yes. Piggy is built privacy-first. You can sign in anonymously — no name, email, or personal information required — and all your data stays on your device.
Cloud sync (Premium) is opt-in. When enabled, your data is stored under your account UID — no one else can access it. Linking a sign-in provider (Google, Apple, or email) is only needed to protect your account across devices.
Cloud sync requires a Premium subscription. Once upgraded:
Your data is the same on every device — just sign in with the same account.
If you had cloud sync enabled (Premium): sign in with the same account on your new device and your data will restore automatically.
If you were using the free plan: data is stored locally only and does not transfer automatically. This is why we recommend upgrading to Premium if you want cross-device safety.
Recurring payments are templates for expenses that repeat on a schedule (weekly, monthly, etc.). They appear as upcoming transactions on the home screen so you can see exactly what's coming.
Fixed-amount payments post automatically when due. Variable-amount payments require you to confirm the amount first before they're logged. You can pause a payment any time it's temporarily on hold, then resume it later.
Free users can keep up to 5 recurring payments; Premium removes the limit.
A budget is a spending limit tied to one or more categories and/or tags over a period (e.g. a month). As you log transactions, Piggy tracks how much of each budget you've used.
As you log transactions, Piggy tracks how much of each budget you've used so you can see your progress at a glance. Free users can create up to 2 budgets; Premium unlocks unlimited budgets.
More → Data Management lets you permanently delete all your transactions and clean up leftover (soft-deleted) records.
To remove your account and everything tied to it, go to More → Account → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account and all associated data, including anything stored in the cloud.
Try these steps:
Make sure the transaction's category or tag matches what the budget is tracking. Budget progress only counts transactions whose category/tag is included in the budget's filter.
If it still looks wrong, try navigating away from the screen and returning — this forces a data refresh.
